About Me

I started my career in magazine publishing, shaping stories across lifestyle topics—travel, restaurants, weddings, philanthropy, city life, and the people behind it all. Those years taught me how to think about voice, pacing, and detail, and how to create content that feels intentional and worth someone’s time.

As my work moved into corporate marketing, I brought that same editorial lens with me. I worked on content tied to workplace safety, operations, internal communications, and highly regulated environments—spaces where clarity and judgment matter just as much as creativity. That experience taught me how to take dense or technical information and make it feel grounded, accessible, and trustworthy.

Because of that path, I’m comfortable working at both ends of the spectrum: content that’s human and engaging, and content that needs to be precise, credible, and carefully shaped. Across formats and industries, my focus is the same—helping content feel clear, consistent, and aligned with what the organization actually wants to say.

At my core, I care about good judgment. Knowing what to say, how to say it, and when less is better than more. That editorial instinct is what guides my work as a content strategist today.

my content approach

Voice & Messaging Clarity

A brand’s voice is often felt before it’s fully explained. I focus on how a brand should sound—its tone, vocabulary, and the boundaries that keep it consistent across every channel. My goal is language that feels intentional, recognizable, and aligned with the brand’s identity.

Story Structure & Content Flow

Strong content has structure behind it. Whether it’s a social script, a feature story, or a campaign narrative, I pay attention to how ideas unfold, where clarity can tighten, and how pacing shapes understanding.

Content Direction & Planning

Content works best when it has a plan behind it. I build frameworks that define what we’re saying, why it matters, and how everything connects across platforms. This ensures content is purposeful—not just output.

Editorial Insight & Refinement

Editing is about judgment—what strengthens a piece and what distracts from it. I refine content for clarity, tone, structure, and coherence, making sure it feels polished and worth the reader’s time.

what this looks like in practice

Here’s the practical side of my work, or what I actually do day to day:

  • Shape brand voice and foundational messaging that teams can use consistently.

  • Plan and organize content across social, email, web, and editorial formats.

  • Develop content themes, angles, and calendars for campaigns and ongoing programs.

  • Edit content for clarity, tone, structure, and reader experience.

  • Create briefs, outlines, and direction for writers, designers, and creative partners.

  • Translate complex or technical topics into content that feels human and approachable.

  • Review scripts, captions, long-form copy, and editorial features with an eye for flow and voice.

  • Manage the content process from idea to delivered piece, ensuring quality and consistency.

This is the work that sits behind the strategy, the part that keeps content clear, aligned,
and moving in the right direction.
